GPS linked orthomosaic mapping

A few images taken from a mapping survey we carried out on a commercial vehicle repair site using GPS linked positioning data: measurements, environmental movement, ground elevation, terrain, and in this case also HGV vehicles too! The 3D model is in fact a 2 1/2D bye-product of the 2D survey taken with a 12 Megapixel HDR sensor at 90 degrees and stitched together using mapping software. Actual 3D modelling is a tad more complicated with variable sensor angles and using considerably more images to process.

Taken from a series of High Definition photographs of damage caused by the destructive power of flood and fire.

A few images taken from a not so glamorous but nonetheless essential chimney and roof inspection. Conclusion - chimney good but did find a couple of holes in the roof - 1 dislodged and 1 broken roof tile causing a leak between the tiles and underfelt that dripped through the ceiling in several places. Also a cable that was wrapped around a chimney pot but wasn't attached to anything and went nowhere!

Yes, yes, I know, not glamorous either, but yet again some essential images taken from a roof inspection and a suspected leaking gutter. Turned out the gutters needed cleaning.  And whilst up there I was asked to take a few photos of the house too!

A couple of stills from a promotional video we made for The Lilacs pub in Isham, Nr Kettering, Northamptonshire

A few images from a roof/solar panel inspection, and website enhancement images took for a HGV repair & Maintenance Centre. Yes, the same site we carried out a mapping survey. We were kept very busy here. This particular roof inspection exposed 24 holes and 6 other defects covering an area of almost 3 acres!

KGT Logistics in Wellingborough wanted a promotion video for their haulage business with a few aerial photographs of the depot and fleet vehicles. Of course, we were more than happy to help. The video is on our Pics n Vids gallery page, but here are a few of the aerial shots they wanted.
