                            Inspections

Storm damage; Leaks; Insurance claims; Flood & Fire, Repair observation; Erosion/Ingress; Preventative maintenance; Wear & Tear; Vandalism...

Roof, chimney, vents & stacks, bricks and mortar, guttering & drain downpipes, solar panels, warehouses, cladding, environmental movements & terrain, agricultural/crops...

High Definition (HD) images are now an integral part for any accurate preventative maintenance inspection or to highlight any urgent repairs for property owners/commercial maintenance managers to study. Missing or simply ignoring any wear and tear, erosion or damage that requires immediate attention, if not remedied quickly, could lead to a costly problem.

In the first instance an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) inspection is fast, efficient, safer and an extremely cost effective method of determining the condition of most surveys undertaken manually. HD images can be magnified for closer inspection without losing quality and very little clarity to discover any possible damage, erosion, repair, water ingress, even seagull, pigeon, insect & rodent infestation, wasp or bee nests, including many other costly defects, faults and damage. They are also increasingly used on construction sites for building progress reports, security & site traffic observation.

Using UAV's to take HD images will never replace the experience and professional eye of trade personnel. Nevertheless, for first assessment inspection drone imagery date takes away the risk of working at height or access to difficult terrain sites, and possible injury from reaching into those hard to reach places. It also eliminates unnecessary hire of cherry pickers, scaffolding, ladders and crawling boards, keeping labour and downtime to a minimum. And most certainly speeds up the process, allowing images to be emailed directly to you, saving site visits and giving you the freedom to be elsewhere engaged in other tasks before viewing your inspection at your leisure.

Mapping: Using our programmable software with a minimum 13 satellite GPS Geo-Reference linked data, aerial surveys create accurate orthomosaic site detail, record environmental changes and site movement, obstacles, topographical profiling, dimensions & distances, highlight erosion/corrosion issues, monitor construction development and building projects, aggregate volumes and environment movement, for ease and quick (sometimes same day) data response deliverables, rather than waiting days or even weeks for a manual survey.

A typical building project/construction/development mapping survey on a 1/4 acre site using 20MP HD imagery data from £375*

Please note: although our GPS linked mapping surveys are incredibly accurate they are not RTK (Real Time Kinematic) specific, so cannot be used for legal disputes, deeds and land ownership purposes, where they're carried out using GCP (Ground Control Points) for specific legal binding documents. However, our orthomosaic survey can be used for assisting legal-controlled surveys, as well as many other applications already mentioned.

UAV pilots are not only subject to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) laws, rules and regulations, we are also subject to the weather. Although our drones are quite tough, rain, fog, snow, ice, frost, extreme wind, cold and heat can hinder a flight plan. Should weather conditions halt any pre-arranged flights we will arrange another date for when the weather conditions improve and suits you. Sometimes this can be on the same day, and even within a few hours!

Should you live near any government buildings such as prisons, military sites, or airports and aerodromes, there will almost certainly be a Flight Restriction Zone (FRZ) set in place around the immediate area. But don't panic. There is a protocol for us drone pilots to follow where we request permission from the local Air Traffic Control/Authorities and inform local police of our intensions to temporarily fly within restricted air space at low altitude. After all, we're not planning on racing a Typhoon jet or keep up with an air liner. And providing you don't have low flying RAF fighter pilots screaming past at 60 feet above your house, or have an airport at the bottom of the garden, all will go swimmingly. Besides, even before we first visit your house, building project or commercial site, we would have already completed a preliminary risk assessment and a pre flight check thanks to the information you kindly gave us during our initial chat.

         * pricing may be subject to topographical locations, flight restriction applications, acreage, structure(s) height/surface area
